Admissions - Overview

Applying to Fawakih is as easy as 1-2-3…!

Step 1: Fill out the Fawakih Summer Program application. Please ensure you have fllled out all necessary fields. If your form has missing information, you will be asked to resubmit the form.

Step 2: Within one week of receiving your application, Fawakih staff will contact you to schedule a phone interview.

Step 3: If accepted into the program, you will receive an acceptance letter and orientation packet. You will also be required to pay and non-refundable deposit of $150 to secure your seat.

Step 4: You will be asked to complete a housing/travel/childcare form. Once you have received your acceptance email, you can go to the housing and travel page to fill out the form. This form will allow us to set up airport transportation, help coordinate a possible caravan, and help place you with a roommate during your stay here. Please note that you should only fill this form until you have received your Fawakih Summer Program acceptance letter and have made your travel plans. 

Step 5: You will be asked to choose your tuition plan.

NOTE:  Fawakih holds a rolling decision admission process. Each program is limited in capacity, but we strive to accommodate students who show seriousness of intent in their application. Students are placed in courses based on previous experience. Requirements for general program entry include:

  • Aged 16 and over (exceptional high school students considered on a case by case basis)
  • Arabic phonetic reading proficiency (even if Arabic is not understood).
